On January 10, students and staff ran laps around our campus for our second annual Willow Winter Dash, a fundraiser organized by Andy Pruzick, Willow’s Middle School Co-Director and Wellness Teacher, and our middle schoolers for The Community FoodBank of New Jersey. Students brought in non-perishables as an entry fee to the Dash, and parents pledged donations per lap.

Thanks to all of our runners, walkers, donors, and middle school organizers, Willow collected an impressive amount of food and raised over $8,600, providing more than 25,800 meals to our neighbors experiencing food insecurity! We are so proud of our students and our generous community, and we are moved by the big impact you have helped us make in our community.

The Willow Winter Dash is part of The Community FoodBank’s Student Change Hunger campaign. We look forward to seeing this year’s results! Thank you, CFBNJ, for all that you do and for inspiring our students! You helped them learn that they are never too young to make a difference.
