Willow is proud to be a part of Common Ground Speaks, a group of parents associations from local independent schools dedicated to exchanging ideas, sharing resources, and hosting speakers and workshops that benefit and reflect the needs and concerns of parents, educators, and students. Common Ground Speaks will host Anne Nelson, author and lecturer in the fields of international affairs, media and human rights, to speak on “Maintaining Civility in an Age of Conflict” on October 6, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. In this online event, co-hosted by Newark Academy, Anne will talk about specific strategies on how to remain civil – and humane – in dealing with others who possess a radically different point of view than you.
